Cool Things in Seoul, S. Korea
Recently, a new restaurant has been opened which specializes in Belgian and southern French cuisines. The appetizer menu includes such as the various assorts of mussels, goat cheese salad, and smoked salmon salad. For the main courses, Waterzooi of chicken with cream sauce and potatoes (19,000 won) which is the house specialty and grilled scallops with garlic served with saffron risotto (24,000 won) are served.
Mignon also has a brunch menu, featuring omelets, sandwiches and egg benedict. Brunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the weekdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekends.
Direction: From Itaewon Station (Subway Line 6) Exit 1, turn right at the first alley. Then at the dead end, turn left and walk all the way to the end of the street. At your right, you’ll find stairs leading up to Mignon Terrace. For reservations, call (02) 793-3070. The staff speak English.
